Whereby the Burn Cottage Pinot Noir shows a more focused and Cote de Nuits style of wine, this is certainly more relaxed Cote de Beaune style, with a slightly more expressive nose of strawberries, raspberries, red florals, spring flowers, wild herbs, mocha and vanilla. The palate is medium bodied, showing both richness and succulent red fruit, milk chocolate, crushed florals, along with bigger more structured tannins, a soft yet persistent mid palate leads to a medium weighty finish.
